DIVERSITY OF ENDOPARASITIC FAUNA INFECTING MIGRATORY BIRDS VISITING WET LAND NICHES Of PUNJAB, PAKISTAN

Birds migration is a seasonal activity and being influenced by climatic changes. especially migratory birds act as vector for many pathogens including bacteria, virus, parasites fungi. Parasites are potent having significant importance in veterinary public health sectors. Present study was designed to check the endo-parasitic prevalence birdpopulation of various sentinels Punjab province, Pakistan using qualitative quantitative microscopic examination. Overall, highest trematodes (41.37 %) recorded followed order nematodes (36.78%) cestodes (21.83%). Non-significant association found among bird species; however variations selected districts screened population endoparasitic fauna information regarding pattern probable risk factors may help understanding disease distribution from wild livestock humans niches Punjab, Pakistan. The nature helps identify threats countries involved their routes .
